Calibu Power Plant
The Calibu Power Plant supplies electric power to the city of Angeles, Pampanga, in the Philippines
OAenterprise is integrated via Kepware drivers with Moore Industries I/Os and Schenck Vibration meters through MODBUS, which is connected to RTDs, flow valves, accelerometers, and electrical instruments to measure and control the condition of the diesel turbine generator.
OAenterprise senses and trends the vibration and exhaust condition of the engine avoiding costly shutdowns which typically require a one month downtime. A one month payback was realized.
Transpower New Zealand
Transpower owns and operates New Zealand’s high voltage electricity transmission grid, linking generators to distribution companies and major industrial users. Transpower utilizes OAenterprise to provide web-based monitoring of the grid’s power system frequency and alarms.
Pacific Solar Australia
Pacific Solar use OAenterprise to connect via OPC to a PLC, which monitors several utilities in Pacific Solar’s laboratory including process gases, air conditioning, cooling water and DI water.
The system also monitors wet chemistry benches and ovens. OAenterprise utilizes this real-time information from the PLC and displays it as web content for users.
